WELCOME

Could the arts be a secret weapon to helping all students succeed? We think so and thank you for visiting the CBFreeLA website.

Here you will find a dedicated group of young leaders who are passionate about making the arts an essential component in every child's learning - especially our most underserved who show the greatest improvement in academic achievement while participating in the arts.

Our younger generation is undeniably the rightful, capable heirs to the inheritance we leave behind. Yet what legacy will we leave them to grow on? It should be one that empowers them for generations to come. So, let's get to it and do our part to keep the arts strong in our communities, providing every child with the opportunity to create, learn and achieve.

As you will discover, CBFreeLA also serves as an umbrella organization for many subsidiary businesses developed out of the hearts of our young leaders who have completed our Break N' Out training classes. These leaders are committed to improving the world through all facets of the arts and giving a voice to young people in every city, in every nation. This website is designed to promote critical information about our mission, share our story, bring unity and communicate current and emerging issues that affect today's youth.

So we are counting on you to take action in this global movement, especially as research sheds new light on the essential role of the arts in not only enhancing academic performance and nurturing creativity but also in fostering personal development - all critical to preparing students for success in future endeavors.

Here are a few steps we can take together:

   • Get involved and support CBFreeLA by making a donation today.
   • Have our team visit your local city, school, or business.
   • Partner with us to host or support community events.
   • Support best practices for teaching in and through the arts
   • Advocate for public policies that strengthen the place of the arts in the curriculum of every student.
